什么是年轻？冲动、个性、真诚、创造、懵懂、热血、聪明……把脑子里那些词汇一起摆出来，就能诠释年轻了吗？当这些稚气的童声唱起的时候，属于你的年轻又是怎样的呢？
2003年，一家国际知名的矿泉水品牌制作了一款童趣盎然的广告，以Queen乐队的金曲“WE WILL ROCK YOU”打底，邀请多位童男童女献声演唱，并配上了极尽想象力的Flash动画MV。这个别出心裁的创意瞬间火爆欧洲几个大国的音乐排行与电台点播，那个蹦蹦跳跳的小蓝人，将“蓬蓬嚓、蓬蓬嚓”的摇滚节奏点化成萌之又萌的商业卖点。机灵的唱片发行商趁热打铁，策划发行了这张由小盆友翻唱20世纪80年代摇滚金曲的可爱合辑，并赐给了它一个美好的名字：“永远年轻”。
十年之后的今天，那些当年演唱的孩子们应该都进入了或刚刚度过他们的青春期，但对于他们唱过的歌曲，比如这首与专辑同名的《Forever Young》，是否能回味出另一种滋味？这首歌的原唱是德国新浪潮电子乐团Alphaville。童声版去掉了原版的合成器，加入了流行的吉他摇滚曲式。音乐上固然可以为小伙伴们改改装，但我们无法强行让一个21世纪的少年去认同上世纪80年代的年轻定义，特别是在现在这么一个以多元、自由为主流价值观的星球上，历史的车轮永远只能乐观向前驶去。这速度越来越快，快得已等不及一代人成熟，下一代人便已有了自己的年轻概念了。
这自然不是坏事，但也未必是好事。看着单位里的实习生，一年比一年更加沉稳老练，更加善于察言观色；看看校园里的大学生，一届比一届干练狡黠，越发精于算计经营。更为可怕的是，这样的世故表情，是在一片阳光与稚气的外表下浑如天成般地挥洒而出，未入江湖半步早已阅遍人间沧桑！再看看我周围的那些刚刚开始为生计奔忙的小白领们，每天挂着工作牌排队进餐，就天南地北的人间八卦交换着意见，人生的起跑线已经成为终点线，他们是被这条重合的线栓在一起的蚂蚱，相互依靠着、无奈地蹦跶着，但早已方向凌乱。
其实，这种凌乱早已持续了三十多年，只不过以前的年轻人更喜欢用理想主义标榜自己罢了。理想和世俗，都是足以带来毁灭的可怕的两段。可是，我们却可以一手高喊自由，一手考公务员；一边听摇滚，一边看中国好声音；白天是普通青年，晚上是文艺青年；网下是公司职员，网上是二逼萌货。从这一端跳到另一端，我们似乎轻松自如，毫无粘滞。近日有位朋友给我发来一则新闻报道，以“理想世俗化”为当代的年轻观念做了这么一个小结。理想和世俗达成共识，这只能说明了价值免疫力的缺失。要么成为一个BADMAN，要么就是一个MADMAN。Forever Young ？现在谁还关心这个？
我不得不得出一个悲观的结论，我们人类已进入了严重的衰老期，而只有早期的古人们才真正年轻。在西方的古希腊和我们的古先秦，当时的人们对这个世界充满惊讶和好奇，他们身体力行地参与到世界的构建中，醒时谈天说地，睡时梦化为蝶，快乐时会饮辩论，悲伤时叹息流水。Forever Young ？古人更喜欢说“长生不老”，此之谓与？So，别再矫情地说“想在变老前死去”了，好好活着并对这个世界充满好奇，Heaven can wait .We’re only watching the skies.像那个永不疲歇的小蓝人，葆有一颗水一样剔透的心，就永远年轻。
